The Truffles come to Trevs

It’s that time of year again – the Canberra chill has definitely set in, but we have our gorgeous truffle specials making their return! With Jayson and the team from The Truffle Farm supplying these rare ingredients direct to Trevs, we’re pleased to be working with local farms to bring truffle dishes to Canberra.  If you’re yet to enjoy a gourmet experience featuring the taste of truffles, now is the time with breakfast, lunch and dinner options all available.

Breakfast

For the first time, Trevs is introducing a breakfast option. Truffled scrambled eggs on a brioche roll – yes, you read right! Could there be a better way to start your day than with lightly scrambled eggs topped with shavings of truffles and microherbs?

Lunch and Dinner

After its success last year, our porcini mushroom and truffle butter fettuccine  dish makes its return. It’s the perfect way to get acquainted to the subtle and delicate flavour enhancing ways of the truffle. The egg fettuccine is coated with the earthy tastes of porcini mushroom and truffles and is seasoned with sea salt to really amplify this dish.

You haven’t had a steak like this before. The melt-in-your-mouth texture of the beef with truffle porcini butter will taste all the more indulgent as you spread the truffle and porcini butter sauce across your plate. Treat yourself!

If you were lucky enough to try our chicken last year, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the subtle but impressive changes this year. Our sous vide truffle mousse stuffed chicken is deliciously moist, with a mousse filling that will leave you satisfied and licking your lips.

Dessert

Still hungry for more? Try our truffle desserts! Your sweet tooth will be satisfied with the choice between our honey truffle creme brulee or our salted peanut butter truffle and choc chip semifreddo – you’ve never tasted anything quite like it.

You really can have truffles for breakfast, lunch and dinner – thanks to Trevs!
